Introduction
Language has always played a vital role in the creation and development of a society, community or nation. It is the medium with the help of which humans are able to communicate their thoughts and sometimes even express their feelings.
Every dialect and language has its own very History and past. And very similarly even the CHU-TIAN language has its. The Chu-Tian tongue had come a long way since the very beginning. The Chu-Tian language is said to belong to the Tibeto-Burman language group.
However the present original language of the Chu-Tian people may have gone through a number of changes before becoming what it is today. It had been influenced by a number of different languages since its journey from Eastern China to North-East India which took place nearly a thousand years back. Thus, today the CHU-TIAN language is actually a mixture of the many different tribes it absorbed and came into contact during its past migration.
The name CHU-TIAN itself holds a vital clue to the origin of its name and similarly the language.
The word CHU-TIAN can be divided into two sections. The word CHU and the word TIAN. Many believe that the word Chu has come from either the Shu province of China or the very CHU dynasty who are said to have migrated to the south west of China till the Tibetan plateau and also said to have mixed with the then local tribes of Tibet.
The word CHU however in the native CHU-TIAN tongue means 'Good' or 'Elite' or 'Distinct'. And the word Tian may as some believe refer to the TIAN religion itself which most probably may have been practiced by the ancient Chu people.
However in Chinese the term ' Tian ' refers to Sky or Heaven which holds similar representation to the meaning of the Tian word in the Chu-Tian dialect.
